The Pictoplasma Berlin Festival brings together an international scene of artists, directors, designers and agencies, offering a unique forum for all those working with - or simply loving - the visualisation and application of contemporary character design. Whether illustration, animation, graphic design, urban vinyl, street or fine art - the emphasis is not on the limits of style or format, but on the shared dedication to explore character-driven aesthetics. The lively exchange between the various disciplines highlights the importance of characters in contemporary visual culture.

register_now_title NO MORE ONLINE REGISTRATION

Online registration is closed, but we have held back a limited amount of Full Festival passes for all those showing up early at the venue, Kino Babylon Rosa-Luxemburg-Str. 30, on Friday, the 9th of April, between 12:00 and 14:00. First come, first served, cash only.
After that, upon availability, individual tickets for single screenings and lecture slots will be sold 15 minutes before each seance.

Over the course of 2 days, an international line-up of established and up-coming artists, directors, animators and designers will present their character-centric work in concentrated lectures and talks. Attendees have the chance to learn more about the inspiration, production process and personal approach of some of today’s most outstanding creators.
